Program (pdf)
Following the well attended and highly successful residential courses in Croatia, Poland and Greece, the 4th EFCS tutorial will take place in Trieste next June – a perfect time of year to visit this attractive ‘windy city’ on the Adriatic coast of northern Italy. As before, microscope slide-based workshops and lectures will be given by local and visiting experts on conventional and liquid-based gynaecological cytology as well as a wide range of non-gynaecological cytology including serous fluid, urine, thyroid, breast, lung, lymph node, salivary gland – with an emphasis on fine needle aspiration cytology enhanced by ancillary tests.
Guest lecturers will include Lukas Bubendorf and Giovanni Negri. The EFCS team will include Torill Sauer, Amanda Herbert and Rietje Salet-van de Pol.
